is the molasses unsulphured?
Answer:
Yes.
The molasses comes from a certified organic producer in Germany, and in accordance with organic regulations (both EU organic and Debio), no sulfur dioxide or other sulfur compounds are used in the production. The product is therefore naturally unsulfurized and contains no added sulfur.
There may be very small, natural traces of sulfur as part of the organic content of sugarcane, but it is not added as a preservative or treatment agent.
