Development work on process flow in the interaction between Microbiology & Technology in agricultural stables with subsequent observations in crop cultivation and especially in the root zone of plants.

Method development and implementation performed by:

Kristian Søberg, (KR.S) Farmer and method development consultant Knud Dencker-Jensen, Biofedora APS. (KD-J)

After studies in Switzerland, Japan and Okinawa, Knud Dencker-Jensen began to develop the method for "Odorless Slurry" and composting solid manure without odor and flies.

This development process is described in this document

Historical course:

1995, Kristian Søberg had set up a deep litter stable for fattening pigs

The manure mat could not compost, very dirty manure areas formed in the deep litter.

EM! – Effective Microorganisms were diluted with a watering can over the manure mat, which showed a positive effect.

For atomization of the microorganisms into the stable air, various garden sprayers were used, which were not effective enough to distribute the microorganisms in the stable to eliminate airborne diseases in the pigs.

After this start, Kristian Søberg decided in 1996 to develop a permanently installed spray system in all stable sections.

In the beginning, there were many problems with the placement of the system in the stable, which had natural ventilation (no power consumption for ventilation). If the system was mounted too high, the microorganisms were sent out into the open by the thermal airflow and did not benefit the stable. Therefore, many hours were spent finding the optimal placement. When these initial problems were overcome, there was a Professional System that a company specializing in system installation could take over for marketing.

This meant that there was no smell from Kristian Søberg's stables to neighbors.

It was the neighbors who gave permission for the establishment of new stables, as the old ones no longer smelled.

Implementation in Danish Agriculture:

The company Rotor A/S chose to market the technology in agriculture. Kristian Søberg worked as a consultant, including:

Installation at Pig Producer Henrik Kildegaard, Volstrupvej 5, 5750 Ringe.

The idea and system developed by Kristian Søberg has been discussed by many in several parts of the world.

Kristian Søberg tells Indian and Swedish agricultural systems dealers about the positive after-effect of "Odorless Slurry" which, as a result of the spray system, has transformed the volatile ammonia in the stable air into plant-available bacterial protein, which has a "Terra Preta" effect on plants.

Kristian Søberg's experiences are widely published on websites in several countries in various languages.

Sincerely,

Knud Dencker-Jensen
