BioReco street waste

Project at Aarhus Harbor.

The problem was odor issues from the collection site of street waste from the municipality's sweeping machines and sludge from oil separators, which bothered surrounding workshops.

 

The implementation of BioReco 300 + addition of BiosaHerb Miljø was a demonstration project, as the waste site was to be decommissioned after 1-2 years.

 

The odor was removed.-

 

When BioReco's aeration of the leachate water with the addition of microorganisms started to work,

the reception area was sprayed with small "garden sprinklers",

in preparation for the composting process. Part of the dry matter consisted of grain and dust from the feed factories at Aarhus Harbor.

The method was: The sweeping vehicle starts with 1 m3 of water in the tank, to which 2 liters of BiosaHerb Miljø are added. The swept material was thereby inoculated with the microorganisms.
